Item Estrategia basada en la salsa caleña para la prevención de caídas(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Alvarado Vera, Laura Camila; Andrade Barbosa, Juan Camilo; Ordoñez Mora, Leidy Tatiana (Directora)This guide proposes a protocol based on caleña sauce for the prevention of falls in older adults, seeks to identify, through the evaluation of balance, the risk of falls in older adults through the application of the Short Physical Performance Battery SPPB (Short Physical Performance Battery) evaluating 3 aspects, balance, walking speed and lower limb strength and finally the Time get up and Go test. The protocol directed for older adults includes a total of 11 steps of caleña sauce described individually, it also contains the 3 main phases that must be implemented when starting a physical exercise, the first phase has a 10-minute warm-up of joint movements, through of Aero rumba, followed by the central phase that incorporates the steps of salsa caleña with a duration of 40 minutes and finally, the cooling phase consists of breathing exercises and stretching of the whole body in a cephalo-caudal order.
