The main objective of this article is to explore the theory of value that human resource - HR in the management of organizations’ projects, and in which the most important aspects that have contributed to the competitive performance of corporations are identified, and the impact on selecting the right team to obtain positive results. It also discusses the skills and abilities of employees, taking into account the relevance of the strategy and competitive advantage, highlighting that the success of organizations is achieved when their resources and capacities are recognized and used, when they are conceived as a potential of maximum value. Through a literature review methodology, the knowledge management and human resource themes of the project are addressed; project team management; and human resource overview. Among the findings found, it is concluded that corporations are looking for new innovative strategic models to develop, to meet the requirements of trade dynamics and remain in the market.
