La estética hace parte fundamental de las reconstrucciones o restauraciones que se realizan las personas en su cavidad oral. Actualmente existen diversos materiales que son estables, funcionales, estéticos y biocompatibles que aportan diversos beneficios a pacientes que requieran este tipo de rehabilitaciones, entre ellos se encuentran las cerámicas híbridas. Objetivo general: Hacer una revisión de literatura sobre las propiedades mecánicas de la cerámica híbrida VITA ENAMIC. Objetivos específicos Describir las propiedades mecánicas encontradas en la revisión de literatura de la cerámica hibrida Vita Enamic. Comparar los resultados de los artículos publicados con la descripción de la casa comercial. Brindar información pertinente a la comunidad académica en general, ya que existe muy poca. Método de investigación: Se utilizaron 26 artículos publicados entre los años 2004 y 2020, estos ayudaron a obtener los resultados con respecto a la revisión literaria realizada, arrojando que la mayoría de los autores consultados han coincidido en que la cerámica híbrida Vita Enamic se caracteriza por combinar materiales vítreos resistentes y con alto módulo de elasticidad, ofreciendo una capacidad de carga elevada lo que significa que el material exhibe diversos buenos valores en cuanto a lo que quieren los pacientes. Resultados: La cerámica hibrida vita enamic tiene buenas propiedades estéticas y mecánicas para una rehabilitación funcional integral de los pacientes, siendo un material que no pierde estética ni estabilidad dimensional en la oclusión, sin embargo, las investigaciones arrojaron que se deben corregir algunos aspectos de carácter estético y de procedimientos en laboratorio dental o en la fase clínica ya que llega a presentar algunas fallas. Conclusión: La mayor parte de las afirmaciones que hace la casa comercial que distribuye la cerámica híbrida VITA ENAMIC son completamente veraces.
