Teniendo en cuenta que, la infraestructura tecnológica se ha convertido en el motor impulsor detrás del funcionamiento eficiente y exitoso de las organizaciones en un mundo cada vez más digitalizado y algunos de los principios de la Entidad (EMCALI) como lo son: el servicio al cliente, la política social, la participación en el mercado y la modernización tecnológica como se enuncia en sus principios corporativos “A partir de las necesidades de los Clientes se deberá innovar de manera consistente su tecnología e infraestructura para la prestación de los servicios que presta, de igual manera deberá concluir la modernización de los sistemas de información para garantizar su productividad y el permanente control de los procesos y procedimientos con la máxima flexibilidad y calidad” es crucial el desarrollo constante de herramientas técnicas y administrativas que mejoren la calidad del servicio ofrecido. Es por ello, que los Geovisores le permitirán al Departamento de Telecomunicaciones de la empresa EMCALI mantener una estructura organizada de su infraestructura, en la cual se pueda visualizar, consultar información geográfica y ambiental, explorando mapas, datos espaciales relacionados con ubicaciones específicas de su infraestructura telefónica en la ciudad de Cali. Esta implementación posibilitara un manejo más eficiente de las redes, agilizando así los servicios de reparación, mantenimiento e instalación de la fibra óptica. La data que se tomará de los Geovisores servirá como herramienta para generar una planificación más efectiva en los procesos de instalación y soporte de los clientes del componente TELCO permitiendo así la optimización de tiempos y recursos en la toma de decisiones.Currently, the telecommunications area is one of the most competitive sectors worldwide, which is why companies strive to implement technological advances that are in line with the needs of their users and the market.
