Universidad Santiago de Cali.https://repositorio.usc.edu.co/handle/20.500.12421/6480Las competencias interculturales en el desarrollo de las relaciones internacionales de los países en el contexto actual han instituido un encuentro entre diferentes culturas, al ser aquella técnica que establece el vínculo entre sociedades diferentes. La revisión presente cuenta con la relevancia suficiente al abarcar dos conceptos que se complementan mutuamente. Para describir su importancia se tiene el objetivo general de establecer la relación inherente que tienen las competencias interculturales en el desarrollo de las relaciones internacionales que con el pasar de los años se ha acrecentado, generando un cambio en sectores tanto políticos, sociales y económicos. Dicha importancia, que mediante el uso de un método de investigación descriptivo busca adentrarse en diversos elementos, caracterización de hechos y situaciones en las que intervienen las competencias. En consecuencia, los hallazgos encontrados demuestran que las relaciones internacionales tienen aspectos centrales e imprescindibles a tener en cuenta: la empatía, igualdad, tolerancia a la diversidad y la interacción positiva entre las partes. En conclusión, las competencias interculturales y su diversificación garantizan que el entorno de las relaciones internacionales tenga un nivel más alto pues se han convertido en un pilar fundamental para el idóneo progreso personal de cada integrante poblacional, generando un mejor desenvolvimiento en situaciones internacionales y el mejoramiento progresivo de los diferentes pilares básicos de la sociedad en sectores tanto políticos, sociales, económicos y educacionales.The importance of intercultural competences of countries in the development of international relations in the current context has generated different aspects such as that the new societies have instituted a meeting between different cultures. A technique that establishes society differences, a privilege is formed through interculturality, which makes it possible to effectively generate the moment of interaction. The present review is relevant as it covers two concepts that complement each other sufficiently, characterization of the facts and situations in which the competences intervene. These two concepts assist to define the importance that through the use of a descriptive research method that seeks to delve into the elements. Consequently, the general objective is to establish the inherent relationship that has grown over the years, showing a change in political, social, economic and educational sectors. Regarding the findings, it is pertinent to mention that intercultural competences in international relations have a central aspect; It has countless reasons that establish a before and after, whether it is a process, or a planning oriented towards the management of the development of culture through relationships. On the other hand, when talking about interculturality, there are an infinite number of factors that encompass this and in turn are essential to take into account. Some of these include: empathy, equality, tolerance of diversity and positive interaction between the parties. Intercultural competencies and their diversification guarantee that the international relations sectors have a higher level.
