As a result, it was possible to demonstrate the multiple shortcomings with respect to theoretical knowledge on these topics, concern and if this activity has direct contact with humans and the lack of knowledge of biosafety behaviors puts users and tattooists at health and biological risk. For this reason, a call for attention is proposed for the management of intervention plans and improvement to this invasive body procedure by regional health entities, in order to improve the conditions of the service provided and avoid epidemiological risks derived from the lack of biosecurity and control of transmission vectors, aiming for the protection and prevention of the integrity of this population.
